Make sure the size of your restoration or replacement tooth is compatible with your natural teeth. Additionally, using Lumineers, we can alter the size of teeth to close gaps, and/or give your smile a more balanced appearance.
Shade and color the cosmetic restoration to blend in with your existing smile. Both the porcelain and the dental resin that we use will be color-matched with your teeth. If you undergo professional dental whitening treatments, you will simply be minimizing existing surface stains, so you don’t have to worry about your smile looking too (unnaturally) white post-treatment.
Another important component of cosmetic treatment is customizing the size of an aesthetic restoration to fit the patient’s mouth. If we are constructing a dental implant, Lumineer, or crown for you, your restoration will be sized to fit comfortably in your mouth, function optimally, and look proportional.
