More Information About The Lumineers Process From Our O’Fallon Lumineer Dentists
Achieving a stunning smile does not have to be a stressful and complicated process. In fact, our O’Fallon Lumineer dentists are proud to offer transformative cosmetic treatment that is easy for patients from start to finish.
Let’s talk more about how the Lumineers’ cosmetic treatment process works for patients of many ages.
When you first come into our office, our dentist will take a look at your smile. Our dental team will make sure that:
1. Your smile is healthy enough to have Lumineers applied. If you have existing decay and/or serious gum disease, our dental team may need to treat these issues before moving forward.
2. Lumineers are the right treatment to help you achieve your cosmetic goals.
If you are a good candidate for Lumineers, our dental team will help you understand how Lumineers will change your smile. We want to make sure that the results that Lumineers deliver are exactly what you’re looking for.
During the actual treatment process, our dental team will slightly reshape and minimize your dental enamel in order to ensure a good fit (note: Lumineers require much less enamel destruction than traditional veneers). Then our dental team will adhere your Lumineers to the appropriate teeth with a dental grad adhesive.
Once we make sure that you love the aesthetic results, and that your smile is functioning optimally, you’re all done! You will still be able to eat your favorite foods and drink your favorite drinks with Lumineers. And because Lumineers are custom shaped and shaded, they will blend seamlessly with any surrounding natural teeth.
This entire process is usually completed in just two or three dental appointments. Our dental team can give you a better idea of how long your treatment, in particular, would take, when you contact our office. Please call our O’Fallon Lumineer dentists to get started by scheduling your own personal consultation!
